Co-founder of Pivot to Peace, Sheila Xiao joined CODEPINK co-founder Jodie Evans for a discussion of the series “China is Not Our Enemy”. Sheila spoke about the November 14th Pivot to Peace webinar titled “Chinese Americans United Against the New Cold War” and the consequences of US-China Relations on Chinese Americans here at home. She speaks about her personal experiences as a Chinese American and daughter of Chinese Immigrants growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and how this shaped her work in peace activism.
