On July 11th, Pivot to Peace joined CODEPINK, Veterans for Peace – East Bay, World Beyond War, and other organizations to deliver a letter demanding that she block H.R. 3524, also known as the EAGLE Act. If passed, the EAGLE Act would enact $200 million more for military spending in the Asia-Pacific region. This is the first ever demonstration that the Chinese American community mobilized for against House Speaker Pelosi, demanding that she do more for her Chinese American constituents.
